In 2019, YOKE greatly promoted employee health, an internship program with colleges, a volunteering program in hospitals or bands, environmental purifying events, the YOKE scholarship program and so on, just to keep CSR in mind.

In the meantime, YOKE has been awarded ISO PLUS awards which represents YOKE safety and health environmental enhancement. YOKE has acquired ISO 45001:2018, occupational health and safety management system verification in June 2019.

Following the 2019 annual job safety risk assessment, 194 improvement plans were established, and 50 plans were completed by the end of 2019, with the remaining scheduled for reassessment in March 2020. Improvements from the end of 2019 helped reducing risks for 2020 which resulted from 60 improvement programs.

Xiwei Elementary School is located in remote location in Wuri District. Based on the distinguishing feature of Wuxi river, it develops a two-year theme-based series of courses, attracting a lot of attention from the outside world. YOKE promotes local characteristic education to support the local primary school and sponsors the hardware equipment and performance programs required for the 64th graduation ceremony of the Xiwei Elementary School, which helps the resource-poor rural primary school to have exquisite graduation ceremony even though there are only 2 graduates. Originally scheduled activities to experience ferrying across Wuxi river, due to poor weather condition and changed to row the boat on land, but still does not reduce the enthusiasm of the school's teachers and students. Especially the wonderful explanation of the tour guide by students which makes the featured courses are more abundant. The lively singing of YOKE Dreamer Land orchestra also increase a lot of entertainment to the graduation ceremony.

On the eve of the graduation season, YOKE Sustainable Education Promotion Team came to Dongbao Elementary School and carry out meaningful tree planting activities. Dongbao is located in Tanzi District, Taichung City. There are many old trees in the school, but there’s a lawn in front of the school building that after the old tree species withered, there was no suitable opportunity to plant new trees. YOKE donated 2 camphor trees and 200 fine-leaved cigar flowers, and supported the follow-up maintenance work.

YOKE promotes the concept of caring for the earth and sustainable environment. The general manager leads the sustainable education promotion group, and together with 60 second-grade children, planting seedlings together, let the saplings accompany the children to grow up, and let children to understand the importance of environmental sustainability through experiential learning. Tree planting activities are including tree species explanation, understanding of environmental protection and prized-quiz. Dongbao campus is full of singing and joy with student's meteor skills performance and YOKE Dreamer Land orchestra performance.

The YOKE Corporate Sustainability Report follows the GRI Standards guidelines for sustainable reporting which is disclosed by the core options. To strengthen the credibility of the report, the third-party verification unit- SGS analyzes and verifies with AA1000 Type 1 assurance standard and obtains certification.

The Taichung Children's Art Festival opened on March 30th. In particular, the opening ceremony of the "12 Zodiac gathering drama for both parent and children was held in the Arts and Cultural Center of the Tun District Art Center. The content was lively and vivid and educational. In order to help disadvantaged children to get more art and cultural activities while studying, YOKE subscribes public welfare tickets for Dong Bao elementary school students. They will go to the theater to enjoy the performance together with YOKE supervisors, colleagues and relatives.

In order to reflect the spirit of YOKE’s Iron will, the chairman personally led the management supervisor to form the Superhero League, cooperating with the Taichung Dance Group - the ultimate physical dance group, under the hard work of several weeks, the shocking and brilliant opening performance was unveiled. In the past two years, the year- end party combined with the "Zhen Feng Good Voice" singing competition finals, and performed by the Dreamer Land orchestra. The outstanding performance content has been loved by the guests for years. This year, the audience has been invited again, the number of participants from employees’ family are accounted for about 40%. In addition, the consultants, co-operators, financial partners, and health guards who support YOKE were invited to have a wonderful luncheon at the end of the year.

Since 2013, YOKE has won the silver medal of TTQS talent development quality management system. After 5 years of hard work, YOKE eventually won the TTQS talent development quality management system evaluation gold medal this year.

2018 Taichung World Flower Expo, Taichung local troupe “UPShow Theater” is the grand finale team performing for Flower Expo and will perform the musical “Shintomicho’s Hanaka” in Zhongshan Hall on December 8th and 9th, telling the story of connection between human and land, and the dialogue with natural plants, evoke awareness of environmental protection and make the earth sustainable.

YOKE participated in the road running activity on November 18, calling on 260 colleagues and relatives to participate in the exercise, to improve physical fitness and challenge themselves. For every 1 km of funning, YOKE will donate 1 Osmanthus sapling, A total of 1,035 kilometers was completed. When the musical came to the end, the audience will be given the Osmanthus saplings, and continued to pay attention to the land and nature in the play. Through the 1,035 seedlings, the effect of the green ecology was spread, and together they did their best for environmental protection.

At the same time, we will purchase tickets and support local arts and cultural organizations to provide vibrating activities for our employees in order not to forget to cultivate our mind and body and promote the balance between work and life.

YOKE is the world's third-largest professional safety hook manufacturer. Safety is our most important commitment to customers. For employees, “health” is the most precious safety value. YOKE runs for health and environmental sustainability. On November 18th, calling for 190 employees and 70 of employees’ families to participate in the three-kilometer health group and the nine-kilometer hero group marathon. By running to improve physical fitness and challenge themselves, For every 1 km of funning, YOKE will donate 1 Osmanthus sapling, the result of running came to total of 1,035 kilometers.

In conjunction with the commitment of the community and the sustainability of the environment, YOKE will work with the " UPShow Theater " and will be staged on December 8 and December 9 at Taichung Zhongshan Hall performing musical drama “Shintomicho’s Hanaka”. At the end of the drama, the audience will be given a Osmanthus sapling, continuing the emphasis on the land and nature in the play, spread the effect of green ecology through 1,035 seedlings, and work together to protect the environment.

Continual Improvement Team, CIT's continuous improvement project was launched in the third year of YOKE. It was led by external consultants and internal supervisors from 2016 to 2018. It uses various improvement techniques and tools to improve the process. Analysis and solution of various problems, let the team strength and enable each member to have a sense of participation and achievement, and then develop the habit of using tools, systemic thinking and strengthening problem solving ability. Investing versatile methods to motivate colleagues and also promotes YOKE CIT to continuously improve cultural development, adhering to the concept of “no best, only better”, and continue to promote and continue to improve in the future.

The primary condition to be awarded as TOP100 of corporate citizen is which the profits for the past three years (2015-2017) are positive. YOKE has awarded the seventh place among the top 100 enterprises, which is the best honor in the past year.

Through year-round supplier conferences, we can feel most of our partners have begun to change and carry out continuous management improvement along with YOKE. This is the result of our team's continually efforts for improvement.

This year, nearly 100 of partners, a total of 67 manufacturers are participated in conference. YOKE’s team shared market trends and Continual Improvement Team implementation improvement results, and issued outstanding awards.

The annual summer internship program is one of the most important events of YOKE. This year, 13 universities and graduated students from different fields (faculty of science and engineering, college of management) gathered together. During the six-week internship, in addition to studying the whole process, and led by the mentor and unit supervisor, students complete their special topics of study and participate in the group competition.

In order to promote the integration of academy and industry, YOKE has built up students' industry knowledge and invested resources increasingly year by year, in order to cultivate the professional talents needed by enterprises and simultaneously improve the competitiveness.

This year, we held a grand singing competition, 30 contestants competed fiercely in the preliminary competition. 8 contestants were selected by external professional judges to enter the finals and completed during the party. Finally, the foreign colleagues won the championship in exquisite skills.

YOKE's annual event - Distributor Conference came to a successful conclusion. Nearly 60 partners from 18 countries around the world participated in the event. The two-day event showed the core value of YOKE through workshop touring and professional technology displaying, furthermore, focusing on products and market development trends and share business information. We hope to create more excellent achievements!

The 143 outstanding enterprises competed for the awards, and they were evaluated by experts and scholars for information disclosure, credibility and corporate network community information disclosure.

For the first time, YOKE won the recognition of “Traditional Manufacturing Group-Gold Award”. In the future, we will continue to fulfill our corporate citizenship responsibilities and keep pace with international development in sustainable development.

Ten students from Cheng Kung University, Zhong Xing University, Kaohsiung Normal University and Chin-Yi University of Technology completed the whole process of training within one month. In addition to the professional courses, they used the field to observe and produce personal learning results. At the same time, YOKE arrange one-on-one tutor for full-time tutoring, and arrange research topics for group discussion, use the knowledge of the school, teamwork spirit to publish research topics jointly, and invite school teachers to score and guide.

YOKE exerts the spirit of cooperation between industry and university, allowing the students to experience the workplace during their studies, so that they can smoothly integrate and apply what they have learned in the future.

YOKE Research & Development Center (YRDC) based on the strategy, we plan the product line blueprint for YOKE in the next 10 years and 20 years, and combine the professionalism of academics to develop R&D innovation plans.

The two-day tour will guide them to the manufacturing process, explain core products and technology development, and look forward to the future goals of Industry 4.0, so that business partners from all over the world can understand more about YOKE's commitment to safety and quality, together we will create a new milestone.

At the end of the year, thanks to the hard work of staff, and the support and care of customers and suppliers, YOKE partners and colleagues are invited to participate in the event.

From the preparation of the event to the content of the performance, all of them are organized by internal colleagues to show YOKE's consistent centripetal force, but the most exciting thing is that the business partners have come on stage and show their dancing skills, which makes the audience cheer.
