For this reason, YOKE has adopted the principle of making localized purchases and treating suppliers as business partners. In addition to fulfilling corporate social responsibilities in its own capacity, YOKE also guides suppliers in making ongoing improvements to product quality and production efficiency. Ultimately, we view optimized production procedures and product quality as the foundation for corporate sustainability.
Implement local procurement
With the strategy of promoting an industrial cluster for forging and thermal treatment for supplier management, YOKE has been working with long-term suppliers for mutual growth in pursuit of sustainable business operation. Local procurement has been our procurement policy since company establishment. The 2023 ratio of local procurement was 97.05%.
Digitization of supplier management
To expedite supplier-related processes, YOKE has introduced a supplier information platform and planned to introduce new functions over the years to strengthen our two-way information transmission and exchange. In 2023 we completed the maintenance of supplier basic data and optimization and adjustment of the PO management system, and imported the claim process into the supplier platform to facilitate suppliers to complete account settlement and claim more clearly and more conveniently. In 2024 we will optimize quality document management by enabling suppliers to submit quality documents, including self-inspection documents and material certificates, over the supplier platform to ensure the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of quality documents.
